Northern Vision Development announces strategic expansion with acquisition of two Prince Rupert hotels

WHITEHORSE, YUKON - June 2, 2026 - Northern Vision Development LP (NVD) today announced its first expansion outside of the Yukon, finalizing the purchase of two hotel properties in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The acquisition is being executed in a close, collaborative partnership with Lax Kw’alaams Business Development LP (LK BDLP) and the Metlakatla Development Corporation (MDC).
For over two decades, NVD has been a cornerstone of the Yukon’s hospitality and real estate sectors. This acquisition is a natural evolution of NVD’s proven business model: operating high-quality hospitality assets in partnership with local First Nations; and applying it to a key neighbouring BC economic hub.
While marking a significant milestone in NVD’s growth, this expansion represents a geographical diversification of its portfolio, not a shift away from its foundational home in the Yukon. All capital, assets, and First Nation investments currently within the Yukon remain fully dedicated to the territory. This expansion is designed to support NVD’s long-term growth and stability, ultimately bringing benefits back to its Yukon stakeholders and First Nation partners.
Further details regarding the transition of the Prince Rupert properties will be shared as operations commence, with NVD maintaining its high standards of service and community stewardship across all jurisdictions.
